For people living with ALS

Save your voice while you still have it.

Banking your voice early is one of the most powerful things you can do after an ALS diagnosis. Writz VoiceBank lets you clone your voice in minutes โ€” so that years from now, your kids, your spouse, your friends can still hear you say their names.

Frequently asked questions

How long until I should bank my voice?

The sooner the better. Voice changes happen gradually with ALS, and earlier samples are higher quality. Even if your voice already feels different, a recording now is better than waiting.

How long does it take?

The basic recording is 25 seconds. The comprehensive phonetic set is about 10 minutes total, spread across short clips. We save your progress between sessions.

How is this different from regular voice cloning?

We use guided sentence sets that cover every English phoneme, plus we let your speech therapist add custom practice exercises. The result is a higher-fidelity clone than a random 25-second sample would produce.

Can my family use my banked voice?

Yes โ€” with your consent. You can share your voice ID with family members so they can generate audio in your voice (a recorded message, a story for the grandkids, etc.). You stay in control of who has access.

What does it cost?

Free for people with ALS, MND, and related diagnoses. We absorb the cost because voice loss is one of the cruelest parts of this disease.
